ASB Food Drive April 24-28

Please donate non-expired and non-perishable food items to the donations bins located in front of the library. All donations will go to the Friends & Family Community Connection, a local non-profit that supports numerous families within our community. Thank you for your support!

Ecofuture Fundraiser - April 17-21

One Dollar One Tree Fundraiser - In honor of Earth Week, DNHS will be having a fundraiser for One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organization that plants one tree for each donation of $1.00! Collection boxes will be located in all science classrooms on campus, but there is also an option for an online donation at the following link. Please help us honor the earth this week by donation to our fundraiser.

Peer Leaders Application - 2017-2018

Are you interested in being a Peer Leader next year? Please turn in the attached application to Mr. Roty in the Nighthawk Center by Friday, April 28. This is open to all grades.

SAT Jumpstart Prep Course

Are you taking the May 6 or June 3 SAT? There is still room in the SAT Jumpstart prep course being sponsored by our PTSA here on campus. This mini-course offers eight hours of instruction in all phases of the test in four classes over two weeks, beginning on Tuesday, April 18. The tuition fee includes all materials, including the Official SAT Practice Guide, and a portion of every registration goes back to the DNHS PTSA for programs and services at school. Register at

The 2017 Best Public High Schools ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.
